Nike's newest shoe: Nike+ Basketball

Nike is planning to release their new shoe that will allow baskeball players to track "how high, how hard and how quick" you play on the court this summer. The data that the shoes collect will be able to be viewed and shared using your iPhone. The app will allow users to record stats, set goals and compete with friends. Nike hasn't revealed exactly what all will be able to be tracked or how much the shoes will cost, but the Hyperdunk+ is scheduled to be the first to come out on June 29th.

Nike has had success with the Nike+ Running shoes and also plans to release a Training shoe as well. It is very convenient that all the data that is collected with this technology can be viewed and shared right away on portable devices.
